Eyeglass Lenses

          Our office offers an array of eyeglass lenses to meet individual vision requirements.

Some of the  available lenses are:

•High Index Lenses that are thinner and lighter than ordinary lenses 

•Multifocal Lenses correct for near and distance vision (bifocal) or near, middle and distance vision (trifocal).

•Premium Progressive Lenses are lenses that correct for distance, intermediate and near vision without the lines of bifocal or trifocal lenses. See an example below

•Anti-Fatigue Lens helps with tired eyes, headaches, and shoulder pain

•Premium Computer Progressive Lens are recommended for people who do a lot of continuous work at the computer.  It provides more intermediate vision room, unlike the traditional progressive lens, which provides more room for distance vision     

•Transitions ® Lenses that are clear indoors, but darken automatically when you are outside in direct UV light 

•Polycarbonate Lenses are our first choice for children because of their impact resistance and they are lighter than a standard plastic lens

•Polarized Lenses that reduce glare, enhance colors and provide protection from harmful UV rays 

•Anti-Reflective Coatings are one of the most common coatings for lenses. It reduces the strain on your eyes, and also decreases glare sensitivity while driving at night, under florescent lighting, and at the computer. See the example below.

Frames

Contact Lenses

Sunglasses

Sunglasses aren’t just about style – they’re essential in protecting your eyes from harmful UV rays. And sunglasses aren’t just for adults. Studies have shown that 85% of the UV damage done to a person’s eyes occurs before they are 18 years old. We can make prescription lenses for just about any sunglass frame.

Sports/Protective Eyewear

Our office can prescribe specialized eyewear to protect your eyes at work or at play. Specialty frames and prescription or non-prescription lenses are available for:
