Mathew C. Snyder, O.D.
Dr. Snyder received his undergraduate degree with High Honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 1995.
He then earned his doctorate from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1999, graduating summa cum laude. Optometry runs in Dr. Snyder's family. As a child growing up in Cincinnati, Ohio, Dr. Snyder's uncle was his optometrist.
After becoming a Doctor of Optometry, Dr. Snyder voluntarily chose an additional year of training by completing an optometric residency in ocular disease. This was done at Britton Vision Associates in Elk City, Oklahoma. Until 2002, Dr. Snyder practiced full scope optometric care at the Cooper Clinic in Fort Smith, Arkansas. As the first optometrist to provide care in the 120 person clinic, Dr. Snyder earned a reputation as a leader in the profession. Dr. Snyder has now returned to live near family and establish his ideal practice. His practice, Montgomery Vision Source, offers primary family eye care second to none in the region.
Dr. Snyder is a proud member of both the Texas and American Optometric Association. He is licensed in the state of Texas as a therapeutic optometrist and an optometric glaucoma specialist. |
